1. Hair must be dry and unwashed. Mix equal amounts of the Herbatint color gel and glycol developer in a plastic or glass bowl.
2. Apply the mixture immediately to the hair with a brush. For previously colored hair, apply only to the roots first, wait 30 minutes, then apply to the lengths and ends for an additional 10 minutes (total 40 minutes). For virgin hair, apply from roots to ends and wait 40 minutes.
3. After the development time, rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
4. Wash hair with a Herbatint shampoo and rinse.
5. Apply Herbatint botanical hair cream, leave for 5 minutes, then rinse and dry hair.
