1. Your hair should be dry and unwashed. Mix equal amounts of the Herbatint coloring gel and the glycol developer in a plastic or glass bowl based on your hair's length and volume.
2. Apply the mixture to your hair immediately with a hair color brush. For previously dyed hair, apply only to the roots first, wait 30 minutes, then apply the remaining mixture to the lengths and ends for an additional 10 minutes (total 40 minutes). For virgin hair, apply the mixture from roots to ends.
3. Do not comb the hair. Do not store any leftover mixture.
4. Allow the color to develop for 40 minutes.
5. After development, rinse your hair thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm water until the water runs clear, tilting your head back.
6. Wash your hair with a Herbatint ampoule and rinse.
7. Apply the Herbatint herbal hair cream, wait 5 minutes, then rinse and dry your hair.
