1. Do not use boiling water. Fill the bottle to a maximum of 2/3 full with hot water (max. 80°C).
2. To prevent water from splashing back, hold the hot water bottle upright while filling.
3. After filling, squeeze out the remaining air by slowly lowering the bottle onto a flat surface until water appears at the filling opening.
4. Hold the bottle by the fixed part of the opening and press the tongue firmly to close it securely.
5. Finally, ensure the hot water bottle is sealed and the filling opening is empty.
