1. For hot use: Boil enough water to cover the compress pack. Remove from heat and soak the pack for 5-6 minutes. Alternatively, heat in a microwave at the highest setting in 15-second intervals until desired warmth is achieved.
2. Place the warmed pack into the protective sleeve included in the packaging. Knead gently to distribute the gel.
3. For cold therapy: Store the pack (without the protective cover) in the freezer or refrigerator icebox for at least one hour until frozen.
4. Do not apply the cold compress for longer than 20 minutes at a time. Allow the application area to rest for 20 minutes before reapplying.
